Pre-registration and payment is required for all classes
and is non-refundable.

We ask that you are courteous to others while taking a
class and silence your cell phones....and treat yourself to a babysitter.

Wednesday Morning Help Time
10:00 am - Noon
Taught by Maureen Blosch
$5.00 class fee
This is a great way to bring any project that you are having
difficulty with and get help. You don't need to call ahead,
and you can stay a few minutes or the entire time.
This is a group help time and the instructor
assists everyone.

Social
Thursday Social Knitting
Noon - 2:00 pm
Group hosted by Bonnie Barker
No charge
Come join us and knit a while! This will be a great time
for all who would like a knitting group and don't need
help on their project. This will be an informal group where
ideas and conversation will accompany your knitting.
(No instruction available during this time)


Beginning Knitting
Saturday Mornings
10:00 am - Noon
Class fee $40
This class consists of two - 2 hour sessions.
In the first class, we teach you how to cast on, the knit stitch
and the purl stitch. The next week, we teach you how to use
the stitches in different combinations, how to bind off
and get you started on a basic project. Included in the
class is yarn and needle to get you started. Pre-registration
is required at least 1 week in advance.

Size 6 and 7, 24 inch circular and dpn needles
Stitch Markers, Stitch Holders and Buttons

This darling cardigan is worked from the bottom up
in one piece until the raglan shaping. The sleeves are
worked separately. The raglan shaping is worked with
the body and the sleeves all together. Pockets are
worked either in duplicate stitch or entarsia following
the chart.

This little dress will be a favorite to knit for that
special little girl. We have used "Big Bad Wool Weepeeca"
which is heavenly to knit and easy to care for.

Size 6 double point needles
Pattern included with class
*Students must be able to knit with double point needles*

In this one day only class, you will learn all the tricks to
knitting this dust/bath mitt. It starts with a ribbed cuff
and then you will learn how to make the loops for the body
of the mitt. It's a 1 skein wonder!

Size 7, 24" needle
4 stitch holders
Tapestry needle
Tape measure
5 buttons
Small scissors

*Students must already know how to knit and purl*

This class will teach the following:
Different yarn weights and how to tell them apart
The beauty of using a circular needle
Changing from ribbing to stockinette stitch
3 needle bind off
Front neck shaping
How to shape a sleeve
Sewing in a sleeve
Mattress stitch
Picking up stitches for a button band
Knitting button holes
Picking up for working a neck band
Sewing on buttons
Basic blocking skills

While learning all these skills, you will be knitting your
very own baby cardigan!

Size 1, 32" circular needle
1 skein sock weight yarn
Pattern included with class
*This is an advanced class*

In this class, you will learn how to knit socks on double
point needles from the toe up. This is a great class to open
up the world of sock knitting and all the wonderful yarns
