Pre-registration and payment is required for all classes
and is non-refundable.

We ask that you are courteous to others while taking a
class and silence your cell phones....and treat yourself to a babysitter.

Wednesday Morning Help Time
10:00 am - Noon

$5.00 class fee
This is a great way to bring any project that you are having
difficulty with and get help. You don't need to call ahead,
and you can stay a few minutes or the entire time.
This is a group help time and the instructor
assists everyone.

Come join us and knit a while! This will be a great time
for all who would like a knitting group and don't need
help on their project. This will be an informal group where
ideas and conversation will accompany your knitting.
(No instruction available during this time)


Beginning Knitting
Saturday Mornings
10:00 am - Noon
Class fee $40
This class consists of two - 2 hour sessions.
In the first class, we teach you how to cast on, the knit stitch
and the purl stitch. The next week, we teach you how to use
the stitches in different combinations, how to bind off
and get you started on a basic project. Included in the
class is yarn and needle to get you started. Pre-registration
is required at least 1 week in advance.

 

Dancing Entrelac Cowl

Class fee $35 with 15% off supplies

Materials:
Choose any yarn you like. You will want 1 skein in a
solid and 1 skein in a multi.
Your yarn will dictate the size needle you will need
in a 16" circular.
Pattern included iwth the class.

This is a perfect class for learning how to knit "Entralac"
while making something fun to wear was well!
By choosing the yarn you like, you can make it lightweight
with sock yarn or heavier with worsted weight yarn.
These make great gifts for the holidays!


Christmas Sock Class

Materials:
1 skein each of 3 colors Cascade 220 Worsted
Size 6 double point needles
Tapestry needle
Pattern included with class

This pattern is written by Jane Callister and works the
Christmas sock from the toe up while duplicate stitching
the different patterns. Each sock is a one of a kind
original and will be a cherished Holiday tradition!

 

Miss Winkle Shawlette

1 skein "Allegra" handpainted yarn
Size 3, 24" needle
You will need to go to www.ravelry.com and download
a pattern for $3.50. Pattern written by Martina Behm.

This little shawlette is the perfect accessory and a joy
to knit! The loop edging is a fun technique to learn and
there are very few purl stitches!
1 skein makes the entire project!

Size 5, 24" needle

Pattern

This is a favorite sweater from a pattern written by
Elizabeth Zimmerman. The entire sweater is knit
flat in 1 piece and then folded and seamed in 2 places.
It's amazing how it goes together!

Pattern has all yarn requirements as well as needle sizes
according to the size you want to knit. We suggest starting
with a child's size for learning all the techniques.

This class will guide you thru knitting this sweater from the
bottom up in one piece! You will learn how to pick up
stitches for the pocket and join the sleeves while
